High-Converting website checklist

When I tell clients my website design service price sometimes I hear: Well, I love your offer but it is a bit too expensive and anyone can build a website these days so I think I can try on my own… sure thing and AI is here to help BUT not everyone knows how to turn their website into their main client-converting tool.
Why? Because they’re either missing key information, don’t have the time to really work on it, or don’t have the budget to hire someone to help.

That’s why I’ve put together a few must-haves for your website, things that will make it more attractive, relatable, and findable so it actually works for you.

1st - LINKS

Your website must be easy to navigate and guide people toward taking action.

  • Add clear, working links to your contact page, services, social media, and booking form.

  • Avoid dead links or too many clicks to get to the important stuff.

  • Include a call-to-action (CTA) button on every page.

2nd - OPTIMIZATION

Optimization means making sure your website performs well.

  • Mobile-friendly design (most users browse on their phones!)

  • Fast loading speed : slow sites = high bounce rates

  • SEO settings: Meta titles, descriptions, and image alt text all help your site rank better on Google

3rd - CONNECTIONS

Your content should build trust and connection with your audience.

  • Use language that speaks to your ideal client’s struggles and goals

  • Share your story or values on your About page

  • Add testimonials or case studies to show proof

  • Show your face! People connect with people (I must say this is the hardest part for me BUT I do it, I think it is so good to show your face)

4th - KEYWORDS

Keywords are how people find you on Google.

  • Think about what your ideal client would type into search when looking for help

  • Use those phrases naturally in your headings, service descriptions, and blogs

  • Example: If you're a wellness coach for women in their 40s, include terms like “hormone balance,” “energy for busy moms,” or “midlife wellness tips”

Last but no least: BLOGS bring in Google traffic long after they're posted.
